a medley of extemporanea;: Taipei

After our New Year's meal at Shih Chen's house. We hit the MRT (mass rapid transit) and headed to Danshui. Danshui is an old fishing port in Taipei with lots of food stalls and shops. Because of the holiday, the crowds were minimal and we were able to walk without the herds. There was a Longshan Temple here that we checked out and then we did what most Northwesterners would do...we hit Starbucks!
